About WhatsOnVideo

YouTube has wonderful videos on it, and it can take half an hour of scrolling to find one. WhatsOnVideo is the fix: a plain TV guide. Pick a subject, pick a shelf, tap, and you're watching in about fifteen seconds.

What's on it

History from more than 200 channels that cover the subject, free full-length movies from official distributors and the public domain, and official music videos from the artists and labels themselves. More subjects are on the way: Nature, Science, Travel, Cooking and Politics.

How we choose

We don't take payment to list anything. Videos are picked by rules, the same for everyone: they must be real (no fiction passed off as history, no bootleg movie uploads, no Shorts), and they must earn at least two stars from public numbers. See how the stars work.

Who makes it

WhatsOnVideo is a project of the Mountain View Fellowship of Oracle, the group working to save the 1895 Mountain View Hotel in Oracle, Arizona (mfoo.org). It is independent and is not made by or connected with YouTube or Google.
